1. Another Relationship (words by Richard Von Sturmer)
C F C
There are things we never talk about
C G
Because they're just too painful
C F
But if I had another relationship
C G C
It would be with someone like you
F C G C
It would be with someone like you
C F
Someone who can walk through walls
C G
Someone who can live at the bottom of the sea
C F
Someone who can dance like a flame
C F
Someone who can bring the world to me
Fm Dm9 G7
In my dark---ness
C
Someone who can bring the world to me
You're silent and you're electric
You're crimson and cobalt blue
And if I had another relationship
It would be with someone like you
It would be with someone like you
Someone who can rearrange the stars
Someone who can translate poetry
Someone who can open up the books
Someone who can bring the world to me
In my darkness
Someone who can bring the world to me
There are things we never talk about
Because they're just too painful
But if I had another relationship
It would be with someone like you
It would be with someone like you.

3. Dirty Coward Angel
E
It came to me
Whispered in my ear through drunken yellowed teeth
Told me things that no one ought to hear
Showed me places no one ought to see
A
That dirty coward angel
E
That dirty coward angel
That angel kicked me in the mud and turned and mocked me
But still I followed like a dog
We heard the shrieks of some dying beast
It took that sound and tied it in a noose to cast a shadow in the dust
We followed the shadow down a dismal road
A
That dirty coward angel
E
That dirty coward angel
E
That angel told me;
A
Step on a crack
E
Walk under ladders
A
Live under glass
Throw stones
B
Line up them bottles
And knock 'em down
C G A ---/E
That angel was a dirty coward
G A E
That angel was a dirty coward
That angel whispered in my ear through puffy lips
Sweet tales of gold and ambergris
Of riches fit to rot your dreams
Gave me a pick
Pointed to a spot
That angel whispered
"Dig"
E7
How to swing a pick
To break what's already broken
That dirty coward angel
Left me with this token
A discount, surplus, desecrated grave
And now I lay me down to sleep
That dirty coward angel

5. KINDER SURPRISE
Comes from a gas station on a hot afternoon
You eat all the chocolate
You drive off like a hoon
There's a blue plastic capsule
It's a little bit sticky
But inside there's an octoscope
With full assembly instructions
You put it together it doesn't take long
And when you look through it you get
Eight extra pairs of lips
Forty extra fingers on a hand
Look at a watch make time fly
Endangered species
Just multiply...
A dead rat in a jar sealed up tight and left in the sun
Just use the octoscope; you got enough for everyone
Look at all those breasts - look at all those thighs
Just can't believe my thirty-two eyes
Just can't believe my Kinder surprise
Well.... I took you to this party where hardly anyone
showed
Looked in the mirror - got an instant crowd
You're never alone with Kinder surprise
Take under the water
Or into the skies
Look at a painting or your shopping supplies
But.... Don't look at roaches and don't look at cops
Piles of dirty dishes should be avoided at all costs
Look at all those bands, look at all that TV
We're running towards
Just you and me
She bought it for me on that hot afternoon
We ate all the chocolate we went to the moon
There's a blue plastic capsule,it's a little bit sticky
But inside there's an octoscope with full assembly instructions....
Kinder Surprise...........................!
6. What Ever Happened to Doctor Death?
It's a sunny seaside town
In southern Bay Of Plenty
And he's a big big man
Works at the RSA
Morning noon and night
He cooks short order fries
And he used to be a wrestler
On the telly every week,
When he climbed into the ring
All the punters held their breath
Now does anybody wonder
What ever happened to Doctor Death?
Well he's staring at the hot plate and he almost burns some bacon
And he hopes they like it crispy
And he's think'in 'bout his old friend Roy
Who talked so loud and lispy
Roy used to be this big time lover
A regular show business tag team groupey
Now he walks into a room
And all the wrestlers hold their breath
And all he has to say as he looks around is
'What ever happened to Doctor Death?'
So he loves his wife and kids now and the oldest one's at school
And sure the job gets boring but they like that steady money
And sometimes on a slow day he's dreaming of the glory
And it seems so long ago now just like some one else's
story
He used to be this big time bruiser
A regular show-business tag team bad guy
Now he climbs into their bed
And his wife holds her breath
And all she has to say is:
'I know what happened to Doctor Death
I know what happened to Doctor Death’
7. A Kiss On the Back of the Neck
I know I’m ‘sposed to blame my self
And that’s just what I did
For getting in too deep too quick
And keeping my feelings hid
That time when I was shaving and you just snuck up behind
You kissed my neck so poignantly
And a shiver ran down my spine
It was a kiss on the back of my neck
I should have stopped and turned right round and
Asked you your position
If only all those years ago I’d trusted my intuition
But I hid behind my shaving cream I didn’t budge an inch
That kiss was such a warning sign but I didn’t even flinch
It was a kiss on the back of my neck
But that kiss was never just a kiss I felt my hackles rise
And even now the memory
Takes me by such sad surprise
Well they say the first cut is always the deepest and you sure cut me so deeply
But of course you weren’t the first and of course I
Helped you hold the slice…
8. Home To You
D A
Not a Basque with a bomb
Bm G
Not a serial garrotter
D A
Not a charismatic evangelist
Bm G
Nor the ghost of Christmas past
D A
Could keep me from your side
Bm G
Could sway me from your ride
D A
Or make me break my stride
D Em
As I'm walking home to you
No floods of tears
No burning wooden bridges
No twelve car pileups
On the motorway
No giant seven meter waves
In the Straight could make me late
Or make me hesitate
Or make me break a date
As I'm walking home to you
It's such a simple thing
Just the one foot in front of the other
Sweet, sweet progress
Towards your caress
Not a bask in the sun
Not a serious discussion
Not a Casablanca sunset
Not a Mona Lisa smile
Could keep me from your side
Could sway me from your ride
Or make me break my stride
As I'm walking home to you
9. You’re Wrong, (words by Richard Von Sturmer)
If you think I’m coming back
If you think I’m coming back
If you think I’m coming back
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
The world is completely flat,
I’ve been forced to retire
The parrot’s shed his feathers
And there’s nothing I desire
Nothing I desire
If you think I’m coming back
If you think I’m coming back
If you think I’m coming back
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
The bridge that spanned out heart
Has lost its final plank
And the horse that once crossed over
Expired on the bank
And if you think I’m coming back
To a place where desolation
Goes
To be
Alone
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
If you think I’m coming back
If you think I’m coming back
If you think I’m coming back
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
You’re wrong
10. Roller-skate Rescue
Come to my roller-skate rescue
We made a plastic model hot-rod
We met at the pigeon cave
We got a space shock
If you get festy gotta sniff the dogs butt
Gotta roll out stud troupers
Gotta run past the double mint murmer
Gotta soda pop our love.
A boomerang is love
It gives the feeling of love
And I just wanna sit on the roof
And throw peaches at the cars
Lie on ya back
And stare at the moon cresta
Till you get a space shock then kiss like a train
Kiss like a train kiss like a train
Come to my roller-skate rescue
I've got this real cool sterio
Do ya wanna stay over
Do ya wanna stay over?
We met at the pigeon cave
And I just wanna
Sit on the roof
And throw peaches at the cars.
11. Anita
It's not that we won't see you anymore
It's just that we won't see you so much
It's been really great working with you
I sure hope that we can stay in touch…
Anita surprised us all today by resigning
She said she wanted to do this course in designing
Kevin sent an email to say 'boo hoo '
She said it was something she'd always wanted to do
You should have seen her last night at the office party
There she was she was dressed up like such a smarty
Everyone seemed to follow her around
And when she danced her feet never touched the ground
Anita
Anita
A neat neat neat neat neat neat neat
Neat a
Everyday for a month she ate her lunch all alone
She was thinking about her future
She was thinking of leaving us all oh no
Anita

A neat neat neat neat neat neat neat
